It's been a week's duration of voting for the next book choice. The majority who chose to vote decided on Marcel Proust's Swann's Way. the_modern's profile has been updated.
As of today, the next deadline to have this book read by is Wednesday, May 31st. Plenty of time. Discussions will proceed after then. A big thanks to those who participated in voting in the poll.
Two reasons for this post:
1. The entire text of Swann's Way can be found at http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/webbin/gutbook/lookup?num=7178
2. I'm slightly confused about the assignment. Are we only reading the second part of the text? If it is optional, how many of you will be or are considering reading the entire novel? I ask because although I would like to read the entire text, it will be somewhat labor intensive and if I do put the commitment into reading it, I was hoping that I'd have others to discuss it with.
